W.J.Alberts    1912 – 1990

Willem Jacobus Alberts born in Amsterdam. He lived and worked in his hometown. Pupil of Minne Bakker , he exchanged the big city for the Province in the fifties.
There he found inspiration for his paintings and watercolors. Alberts mainly focused on making landscapes , animals, some church interiors, still lifes, and floral arrangements.
He painted in naturalistic-impressionist style. W.J. Albers was a member of Palet “Wending” in Zwolle.
